I was on Gizmodo and an argument broke out about libertarians. I had no idea the general public was so misinformed...
Libertarians (i.e. classical liberals) are not:
- Randian "Objectivists"
- Republicans
- Tea Partiers
- Anarchists
- Librarians
- Drunks
Ok, maybe that last part is not true. I may be drunk atm. I may have been drunk earlier today too. No, I don't want to talk about it.

If there's one thing you can count on, it's the general public being misinformed.

I hate Libertarians! Who are they to tell me to quiet down while people are reading. Oh wait, that's a librarian, my bad. ;)

Libertarian here... missed this last night while I was drinking beer.
I had no idea the public was so misinformed until the 2008 elections.
Democrats passionately supported Obama so much, and the same question tripped them up every time:
What specifically was it about Obama's politics that made him so much of a better candidate than Clinton, Edwards, Dodd, Biden, Gravel, Kucinich, or Richardson?
The standard response:
"......"
